Two Words.....Trevi Fountain. Today we went to the Palentine Hills, the Forum and the Collesium. They were ok, but it was hot and I got a little bored. Every thing was broken and no one was fixing it. There were all sorts of places where they could have had fountains - in fact - some of the spots used to be fountains.... but nothing was there... just rubble. The Collesium was impressive. Every time I called it the "big house" adults giggled. Thats always good because I like attention. I was sure that the highlight of the day was our stop at the apartment for lunch (obviously more pizza and pasta) and some playing, but I was so wrong. After I napped on daddy's back for a while - I woke up to the most amazing site - The Trevi Fountain. It was awesome. Mom and dad had told me about the Bellagio in Vegas and I have always looked forwad to my visit there, but no one ever told me about Trevi. We waked down this boring old street and all of a sudden - BAM - there it is - these amazing fountains. Water every where. Cool sculptures of all sorts of things. Coins being thrown everywhere (I threw in 4 coins - I guess I will return to Rome at least 4 more times). And people every where. I had the most fun with all of the little girls and boys. Tomorrow - we will see the Pope in the morning, but I hope we can go back to Trevi also.
